Chansons de Paris
Opera - Operetta Festival

A sparkling operetta where love and festivity intertwine in the backstreets of Montmartre, Chansons de Paris plunges us into the heart of the Belle Époque. Set to emblematic tunes arranged by Max Alexys, we follow the adventures of Adrienne and Nichette, courted by Gaétan and André de Lussac - more assiduous in the cafés of Place du Tertre, where the two girls are staying, than on the benches of the Faculty... Inevitably torn between passion and family conventions, what will become of our young lovers? In a Paris where everything seems possible, waltzes and cheerful refrains seem to punctuate life and emotions. A beautiful moment of magic and insouciance!
