To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Chostakovich's death, Oleg Caetani and Maya Oganyan present three facets of this great master of 20th-century music. From the juvenile Scherzo (his first official opus) to the testamentary Symphony No. 15, in which the composer amuses himself by quoting here and there some famous pages by Rossini, Glinka or even Wagner, not forgetting the essential Piano Concerto No. 2, which he dedicated to his own son, it's a whole highly personal, virtuoso and lyrical universe that they allow us to rediscover here.
